The picturesque coastal city of Loutraki, Greece welcomed all comers to one of the world’s premier amateur from June 3 to 8. Organized by the International Workers & Amateurs Sports Confederation (CSIT), the CSIT World Sport Games united more than 6,000 athletes from nearly 60 countries for a week of inclusive, multi-sport celebration.

Co-organized by the Hellenic Organization for Company Sports & Health (HOCSH), the CSIT World Sports Games are known for promoting solidarity among workers and amateur athletes, emphasizing participation over competition. This year’s edition featured a special CSIT PARA SPORT Program, further reinforcing the event’s commitment to inclusion and accessibility.

The World Dodgeball Federation was proud to partner once again with CSIT to deliver the sport to the event. After a successful showing at the 2023 edition in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, teams travelled to Greece to compete in a Mixed Foam format over a two-day period.

Following a round-robin format, Canada captured gold, defeating Hong Kong, China in the final, while Italy took the bronze. The event also included a representative team from San Marion and an Under-18 Italian squad.

The WDBF continues to expand its partnership with the International Workers & Amateurs Sports Confederation, and will be participating in the 2027 CSIT World Sports Games, to be held in Aalborg, Denmark.
