The Hong Kong Dodgeball Association 香港閃避球總會 (HKDA), founded in 2008 by Mr. Brian Li, has played a key role in developing and promoting dodgeball locally and globally. Since launching the Hong Kong Dodgeball League the same year, the sport has grown to include multiple divisions and over 1,000 participants at its peak. HKDA was instrumental in establishing the World Dodgeball Federation (WDBF) in 2012, alongside countries like the U.S., Canada, and Australia, to lead global development of the sport. HKDA remains active in organizing local and international events, including the 2014 WDBF World Championship, and is dedicated to engaging youth through schools and institutions to make dodgeball a recognized and widely enjoyed sport in Hong Kong.
