Published on October 31, 2024

The World Dodgeball Federation (WDBF) is excited to announce the official opening of the Host Selection Process for the 2026 World Dodgeball Championships. Following a historic 2024 World Championships in Graz, Austria—where over 1,200 participants from 123 teams, representing 35 nations across six divisions, competed in the largest event in the sport’s history—the WDBF anticipates an even more expansive turnout for 2026.

Projected attendance for the 2026 Championships is expected to exceed 1,500 athletes from more than 50 countries, with an economic impact estimated to surpass $4 million. As the 11th edition of the WDBF World Championships, this prestigious event follows a legacy of global host cities, including Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Queenstown, Las Vegas, Melbourne, Toronto, Los Angeles, Cancun, Edmonton, and Graz.

Organizations interested in hosting this major sporting event are invited to request the official bid package by contacting 2026bid@worlddodgeballfederation.com. All bid submissions are due by December 20, 2024
