2022 Year in Review
Published on February 21, 2023

Last year was incredibly busy and equally rewarding, as the WDBF took some big steps in its development. The highlight of the year was the 9th World Dodgeball Championship, which featured 15 countries from around the world taking part in the largest tournament of its kind in the sport’s history, gathering together the foam and cloth disciplines for the first time ever.

We also added new members from all continents in 2022, and formed new partnerships with organizations in media, sports, and marketing, presenting dodgeball at the TAFISA European Games and the World Police and Fire Games.

Another first for the sport was our invitation to attend and present at the annual general meeting of the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees in November. The presentation was well-received and represented another step in the global popularization of dodgeball. Please join us in recounting ten significant moments for the sport in 2022.
