The WDBF held its Annual General Meeting on December 17, 2023. In addition to providing Members with information on the current operational and financial status of the organization, new members were welcomed, and elections were held for the 4 secretariat positions, along with a confirmation on the 6 continental vice-presidents.

The positions of Deputy President and Secretary General were contested, while President and Treasurer were acclaimed. The Vice-Presidents consist of the continental presidents, each elected by their representative continental federations.

Elections are held every four years, and follow the procedures outlined in the WDBF bylaws, in accordance with the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (S.C. 2009, c. 23).
